A great deal of rainfall falls at Gates Group; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and
the driest month is July. At Gates Group enjoyable stuff to do is bountiful, and it is a delightful campground.
This campground is a delightful spot to stop by. Paddling on Yuba River - Middle Fork is so much fun, and a glorious location to pop by close by is Eagle Ravine.
As long as you love the outdoors you will love California. The glorious local attractions and the glorious variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. And if that's not enough there's plenty more exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Gates Group is
in the vicinity of Malakoff Diggins State Park which is a beautiful place, and some close by water includes Gold Run.
This is such a fun spot for a campground. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Nevada County Country Club, and splendid hiking is available along the Humbug Trail.
