| | French Meadows is often visited by folks in Nevada City. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. The Humbug Trail is a perfect hiking trail near French Meadows, and Eagle Ravine is another fine place to stop by nearby. Be careful coming to French Meadows, you might not ever want to return back home again. Sugarloaf Mountain can be made out from French Meadows. Going for a hike on the Halls Ranch Trail is always a good adventure, and you'll possibly meet some people from Nevada City here.

kindness and all the magnificent passtime activities will make you feel fine. A golf course right next door to French Meadows is Nevada County Country Club, and unsurprisingly, this is a magnificent region for people who like lakes, Lava Cap Reservoir is a lake around here.
| Such a fine pick of attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are good reasons to come. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is bountiful here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Places like Empire Mine State Park are pleasant to stop by; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the South Yuba Trail.

so it's not possible to get bored. This campground has so many entertaining things to offer. Malakoff Diggins State Park is a delightful location, and you can go for a hike on the Green Valley Trail.
This camp ground is positioned in the pretty Northern Sierra Nevada. Lots
of rainfall falls at French Meadows; the month with most of the rain is January while July is mostly the driest month.
There's just no way anyone can get bored here at French Meadows. Yuba River - South Fork is a nice whitewater spot near French Meadows; do take a look at Gold
Run if you're here at French Meadows. This campground is so good. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Yuba River - Middle Fork; Selby Flat is a brilliant site to stretch your legs a bit.
Summertime at French Meadows comes with
high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to French Meadows. Some folks stay at French Meadows so they can go to Empire Mine State Park. California
is a fine location for campers.
If you're here at French Meadows and you like golf, you can visit Quail Valley Golf Course, and close by you find the Lafayette Ridge Trail which is a good hiking trail.
