French Gulch - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, Southern Sierra Nevada, California   French Gulch is liked by folks in Sequoia National Park. So many entertaining things near French Gulch, and it's one of those sites where everything is good. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Kaweah River, and hiking along the Don Cecil Trail is nice fun. The Southern Sierra Nevada scenery is always charming. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the High Sierra Trail; a pleasant trip     to Willow Meadow is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a splendid national park; probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Twin Lakes is just a very short distance away. A campground like this is too good to miss. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a magnificent view of Congress Group from French Gulch, and the good folks of Sequoia National Park like to hang out close by. A fine place for whitewater paddling close to French Gulch is Kaweah River - North Fork; do take a hike on the Sheep Creek Trail. This is a good campground. Take a side spree to Clover Creek; if you're here you can take a hike along the Hockett Meadows Trail. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the amusing stuff you can do is hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored.   Some folks stay at this campground to be near Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. Going for a weekend of camping here in California is something you have to do. All the happy folks and all the exciting stuff to do are relatively fantastic. An average amount of rain falls at French Gulch; January is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Any time is a brilliant time at French Gulch if you go for the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kaweah River - Middle Fork, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Atwell Hockett Trail. All through the summertime months here at French Gulch, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for French Gulch tend to be in the 20's. So many local attractions and so much to do are certain to keep you coming back over and over.
