It has a lake near by and penty of bbq pits for the whole camping group whether its 10 of 50! The community campfire and dinnig area makes a great place to catch up with everyone. to be next to Empire Mine State Park. So much cool stuff next to Forbes Creek Rocky Ridge, and it certainly is a great campground. Forbes Creek Rocky Ridge is right by the Lafayette Ridge Trail; if you're a golfer then a tremendous close by course is Nevada County Country Club.
Forbes Creek Rocky Ridge usually gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is July. This is in fact a good campground. For you golfers we recommend close by Quail Valley
Golf Course, and spots like Malakoff Diggins State Park are splendid to explore. The Northern Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful. While you're here at Forbes Creek Rocky Ridge it's a tremendous idea to take a look at Selby Flat, and hiking along the Halls Ranch Trail
is good fun. The glorious local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back persistently. The welcoming atmosphere and the multitude of amusing things to do are reason enough to come here. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of
the exciting stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, swimming, and playing golf, so running out of entertaining things to do won’t happen. But wait, there's more to do close to Forbes Creek Rocky Ridge. From Forbes Creek Rocky Ridge you get a wonderful vista of Sugarloaf Mountain.
