You could also check out Lake Vera while   you're here at Findley Campground; it's close by, and people from Nevada City love to come here. This campground is always a diversion. Don’t forget to visit Selby Flat while you're here at Findley Campground, and Empire Mine State Park is a pleasant spot. Findley Campground is a quite wet place ordinarily with lots of precipitation; through the month of January you get the most rain around here while July is usually the driest month. But wait, there's more to do near Findley Campground. Don't leave Findley Campground without first going for a hike along the South Yuba Trail, and why not a little side trip to Gold Run. Many folks stay here to be near Empire Mine State Park. Such a nice selection of attractions and such a nice variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. You might want to pay a visit to Eagle Ravine since you're here at Findley Campground; Quail Valley Golf Course is a good golf course nearby. There's more to do close to Findley Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.
