Fernwood, Santa Lucia Range, California   Fernwood is a nice camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Santa Lucia Range. Fernwood gets a common amount of rainfall; through the month of January you get the most rain around here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Fernwood is incredibly well esteemed by the folks from Carmel. Scores of folks stay at this campground through their journey to Andrew Molera State Park. With so many things to do in California you'll never get bored. If only every location had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world     it would be. Time spent at Pfeiffer Beach near Fernwood is always good, and the panorama of Little River Hill is delightful. This campground is so pretty. Some of the water close by flows, like Little Sur River, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Soberanes Canyon Trail. You'll meet a lot of people from Carmel here; you can go for a hike on the Manuel Peak Trail. Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of Fernwood. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Carmel River, and a tour to Garrapata State Park revives the soul. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Santa Lucia Range has to offer. Andrew Molera State Park is a delightful place, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the Buzzards Roost Trail. You   have to get out of the house; Fernwood is a good local campground if you happen to be in California. This is truly a perfect campground. A great spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Fernwood is Little Sur River, and perfect hiking is available along the San Clemente Trail. For the duration of the summertime months at Fernwood highs are regularly in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 60's with temperatures at Fernwood dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. Big Sur River is a pleasant whitewater spot in close proximity to Fernwood, and while you're here, do take a spree to Point Sur. Having a nice time in the Santa Lucia Range is painless. Going for a hike on the Oak Grove Trail is always a perfect adventure, and on a pretty day you can take a look at Wreck Beach. The pleasant workforce and the great facilities attract people from far and near. There's a heap of outdoors recreation available nearby such as whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so probably you want to stay a bit. Such a perfect pick of attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back again and again. It's completely out of the question to run out of exciting stuff to do near Fernwood; camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a good place to do that.
