Many people opt for this campground in order to be close to Andrew Molera State Park. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Fernwood, too glorious to be true. Garrapata State Park is a nice place to stretch
your legs a bit, and on a delightful day you can check out Pfeiffer Beach. On a great day at Fernwood you can take a hike along the Oak Grove Trail, and there's whitewater on Little Sur River for all you thrill seekers.

you can observe Little River Hill. This is such a great campground. Carmel River is a good whitewater spot next to Fernwood, and the Manuel Peak Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by.
Fernwood is a campground that is exceptionally esteemed by visitors from Carmel. Life's
too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Santa Lucia Range. Fernwood is not far at all from Carmel, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Buzzards Roost Trail. The annual precipitation here at Fernwood is about average; of all the months in a
year January is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is August.
A spree to Wreck Beach next to Fernwood is always a glorious idea, and why not stop at Point Sur also if you're here.
