Fernwood, Santa Lucia Range, California   Some people choose this campground in order to be in the neighborhood of Andrew Molera State Park. We all need to go for a camping trip once in a while; Fernwood in California is the outdoors at its best. There is so much enjoyable stuff in the vicinity of Fernwood; if you're trying to locate a magnificent location to go for a camping trip, this is a great choice. Fernwood is one of the places to camp here in the Santa Lucia Range. Coming to this campground is always a glorious idea. Fernwood is in the vicinity of Garrapata State Park which is a     wonderful spot, and the Soberanes Canyon Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. You truly must have a thing about the Santa Lucia Range. Going for a hike on the Manuel Peak Trail is always a nice adventure, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Sur River. Such a splendid selection of attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back many times. Fernwood is an old favorite with people of Carmel. This campground is so beautiful. At Fernwood you can catch a glimpse of Little River Hill, and you can go for a hike on the San Clemente Trail. As long as you go for the outdoors you will go for California. Near Fernwood you find the Oak Grove Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and Little Sur River is in close proximity to Fernwood   and is always a diversion to explore. All through the summer highs here at Fernwood get into the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Fernwood through the wintertime mostly drop into the 30's. Man, is there plenty of amusing things to do in the Santa Lucia Range. You have to go to Point Sur when you're here at Fernwood; Big Sur River has a fine whitewater paddling spot close by. There's so much to do at Fernwood including swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's out of the question to get bored. While you're here at Fernwood you will meet lots of folks from close by Carmel; there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Buzzards Roost Trail. You absolutely should explore Andrew Molera State Park if you're here at Fernwood; on a pretty day you can stop by Pfeiffer Beach. A trip to Wreck Beach in the vicinity of Fernwood is always a good idea; paddling on Carmel River is so much fun. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Fernwood is so good!.
