There's a heap of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling,   so you won’t run out of things to do. Good hiking is available along the Sheep Creek Trail, and a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Kaweah River - Middle Fork. This is such a fun place for a campground. Go for a hike on the High Sierra Trail; Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a perfect local destination. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. There's great hiking along the Don Cecil Trail; there's some flowing water nearby, Clover Creek is a stream you can stop by while here. This campground is a beautiful place to visit. The Hockett Meadows Trail offers hiking at its best; hiking is a popular thing to do around Fairview Campground; Atwell Hockett Trail is a wonderful local trail. So many local attractions and so much to do are nice causes to come.
