| | Emigrant Springs is a great camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Northern Sierra Nevada. A splendid sight of pretty Sugarloaf Mountain is available from Emigrant Springs, obviously you could also have a look at Lava Cap Reservoir while you're here; it's not far at all.

| kept up facilities have people coming here. Emigrant Springs regularly gets much rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain; July is when it's the driest.
This campground is so great. Hiking along the South Yuba Trail is magnificent fun; locations like Malakoff Diggins State Park are good to stop by. A number of folks stay at Emigrant Springs when they come to pop by Empire Mine State Park.
