Emigrant Springs is too fine to leave out; Emigrant Springs is a place with many visitors from Nevada City. Emigrant Springs is a very well loved campground by the people of Nevada City. There's such an incredible array of things to do at Emigrant Springs including swimming,
| fishing, whitewater paddling, hiking, and playing golf, so running out of entertaining stuff to do won’t happen. Emigrant Springs typically gets a good deal of rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the warm months at Emigrant Springs highs are typically in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Emigrant Springs overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. | |

The folks who watch over the campground and the well managed operations are a wonderful pull for scores of folks. Scores of people pick this campground through their journey to Empire Mine State Park. There are some fine whitewater spots on Yuba River - South Fork, and there
is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Lafayette Ridge Trail. Going for a hike on the Halls Ranch Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and here at Emigrant Springs you can distinguish Sugarloaf Mountain. Emigrant Springs is to be found in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
This sector of California is always a delight to stop at through camping season. So much exciting stuff to do at Emigrant Springs, so little time. Go for a hike on the Green Valley Trail. Near Emigrant Springs you come across Eagle Ravine which is a brilliant spot to check
out; there's whitewater on Yuba River - Middle Fork for all you thrill seekers. This is a great campground. A pretty lake like Lake Vera in the vicinity of Emigrant Springs is a great location to have a look at, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the South
Yuba Trail. So many exciting things in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just phenomenal. The Humbug Trail is a magnificent hiking trail near Emigrant Springs, and in close proximity to Emigrant Springs you come across a golf course called Quail Valley Golf Course. Just can't get
enough of Emigrant Springs. A pleasant tour to Selby Flat is a good way to spend an afternoon, and a golf course close by is Nevada County Country Club. There is so much cool stuff near Emigrant Springs, and a lot of folks are fond of coming here to escape.
