| | The campground was very nice, walking distance to the lake, nice size lots with extra space to play games, etc. Beautiful trees and scenery, many acitivies to do, hiking, bike riding, swimming, horse back riding among other things. The only disadvantage is there are no showers, we had to go to the next camp ground, Camp Edision to shower for a small fee but other than that it was great, also the staff is extra friendly and very helpful. golf, and whitewater paddling, so running out of entertaining things to do won’t happen. This campground has so many enjoyable things to offer. An afternoon playing golf at Palm Lakes Golf Course is always a delight, and as expected, this is a wonderful region for folks who like
| lakes, Gates Lake is a lake in close proximity. At last, the time to go camping is here again; Dorabelle Campground in California is the outdoors at its most excellent.
A lot of people camp here when they come to explore Millerton Lake State Park. The nice pick of local attractions, and so much to do will make you delighted you came. All the happy people and the great facilities are cause enough to come here.

are generally in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Dorabelle Campground temperatures sink to the 30's. Dorabelle Campground is positioned in an area with loads of entertaining stuff to do; camping is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a perfect spot
to do that.
At Dorabelle Campground you don’t see much rain; through the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is July. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sierra Summit is in close proximity to Dorabelle Campground; a journey here wouldn’t
be complete without a trip to nearby Millerton Lake State Park. Camping in California is such an enjoyable thing to do.
Here at Dorabelle Campground there are plenty of folks from Clovis, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on San Joaquin River.
