Deer Lodge, Coast Ranges, California Custom Search   This camp ground is to be found in the pretty Coast Ranges. Loads of folks pick Deer Lodge so they can go to Trinidad State Beach. Yeah, come up here to the Coast Ranges for a tremendous time. Elk Head is a wonderful location to stop by while in the vicinity. The high level of rain makes Deer Lodge a rather wet place; December is when you get the most rain here; July is when it's the driest. The personnel who's always there to help out and all the exciting things to do attract folks from far and near. Deer Lodge is a campground that is extremely     esteemed by campers from Trinidad. This is such a perfect campground. No need to travel far to check out out of the ordinary stuff like Little Head, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Redwood Creek. If only every place had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great world it would be. Deer Lodge is a spot with many visitors from Trinidad, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Cannonball Beach. This campground is so perfect. Trinidad Harbor is not far at all from Deer Lodge; hiking along the Elk Prairie Trail is tremendous fun. There are so many amusing things to do next to Deer Lodge, and it is a fun location for everybody. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near Deer Lodge. College Cove is in the neighborhood and always great to go to, and the Tsurai Trail offers hiking at its best.   Patrick's Point State Park is a delightful spot to have a look at, and naturally Mill Creek is a wonderful stream that is worth stopping at. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back over and over. Nearby lakes? Sure, Clam Beach Ponds is near Deer Lodge, and places like Trinidad State Beach are pleasant to take a look at. If you've got cabin fever from too much time inside, No need to worry; Deer Lodge is a good local campground if you happen to be in California. Deer Lodge is right by the Agate Beach Trail, and Trinidad State Beach is pretty close by if you're in a beach type of mood. There's so many things to do at Deer Lodge including hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. If you come at the right time of year, Klamath River offers some wonderful whitewater, and you can have a delightful hiking adventure along the Miners Ridge Trail. Take a hike on the Rim Trail, and soar down the rapids of Redwood Creek in a kayak. The warmest time of the year at Deer Lodge comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Deer Lodge descend into the 30's. As long as you fancy the outdoors you will fancy California.
