Dark Canyon is ordinarily a quite arid location; January is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Loads of people stay at Dark Canyon when they come to take a look at Lake Perris State Park. There are so many fun things to do near Dark Canyon, and it is a tremendous campground.
A campground like this is too nice to miss. Dark Canyon is right by the Government Canyon Trail; Colton Golf Course is a nice golf course close by. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. | |

There are delightful spots to discover along the McKinley Firebreak, and Dark Canyon is not the only site nearby, Secombe Lake is a nearby lake.
There's so many things to do at Dark Canyon including playing golf, swimming, fishing, and hiking, so running out of enjoyable things
to do won’t happen. The good variety of local attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back again and again.
The personnel who's always there to lend a hand and all the fun things beat anything. Through the summer, highs generally
are in the 90's at Dark Canyon, and the overnight is fairly chillier of course, usually in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 40's for Dark Canyon. This is a nice campground. A tour to Reche Canyon is always fun, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Shandin Hills Golf Club is in close proximity.
