confluence section is a wonderful 29-mile-from-start-to-finish type V+ part of whitewater on Kings River - Middle Fork. The Dusy Branch to South Fork confluence section of Kings River - Middle Fork is suggested for experienced kayak paddlers solely. Raft paddling can become perilous, so check current conditions ahead of going. There's a nice 14.4-mile-long wilderness hiking trail having a nice 2,759-foot elevation difference in the vicinity; this pretty wilderness hiking trail is the Kings River Trail.
