Cottonwood Creek - Tahoe National Forest, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   California is a good site for campers. There's wonderful hiking along the Lafayette Ridge Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Yuba River - South Fork. Selby Flat is a wonderful place; there are plenty of folks from Nevada City here. There's such a great deal of things to do in close proximity to Cottonwood Creek, and many people are fond of coming here to get away. The kind personnel and all the enjoyable things are a glorious pull for scores of folks. On a wonderful day you obtain a view of Sugarloaf Mountain from Cottonwood Creek, and     hiking is a popular thing to do around Cottonwood Creek; Halls Ranch Trail is a good local trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Don't leave Cottonwood Creek without first going for a hike along the Humbug Trail; Malakoff Diggins State Park is a wonderful place. But wait, there's more to do next to Cottonwood Creek. Places like Empire Mine State Park are glorious to have a look at, and while you're here and you like golf, you can go to Quail Valley Golf Course. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, playing golf, and fishing, so running out of fun things to do won’t happen. We must all go for a camping trip every so often, and Cottonwood Creek in California is the outdoors at its best.   Just can't get enough of Cottonwood Creek. The Green Valley Trail offers hiking at its best. The glorious local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are delightful causes to come. If you come to this campground, you will have a tremendous time for sure. Lava Cap Reservoir is a fine lake next to Cottonwood Creek, and you could always explore Eagle Ravine. A number of folks stay at Cottonwood Creek to be near Empire Mine State Park. This campground has so incredibly much. A quick visit to Gold Run near Cottonwood Creek is a fine idea, and right next door to Cottonwood Creek you discover a golf course called Nevada County Country Club. This camp ground is one of the glorious places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Cottonwood Creek is a campground reasonably frequently visited by folks from Nevada City. That right there is a lot of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. There are great sites to discover along the South Yuba Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Yuba River - Middle Fork offers some brilliant whitewater. Cottonwood Creek sees pretty high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. For the duration of the summertime months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Cottonwood Creek. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's.
