popular campground among residents of Nevada City. California is a fine outdoors state. Coming to this campground is always a splendid idea. Good hiking is available along the Lafayette Ridge Trail, and Yuba River - South Fork has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by.
| There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Near Cold Creek you come across a golf course called Nevada County Country Club, and don't leave Cold Creek without first going for a hike along the Humbug Trail. Nearby Eagle Ravine is a good place to go if you're at Cold Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cold Creek; Halls Ranch Trail is a nice local trail. Creek; hey, Gold Run is a magnificent local stream. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. On a gorgeous day you obtain a view of Sugarloaf Mountain from Cold Creek, and there are fine places to discover along the South Yuba Trail. So much fun stuff to do in the Northern
Sierra Nevada, not sufficient time. Cold Creek is in the vicinity of Malakoff Diggins State Park which is a picturesque place; while you're here you can play some golf at Quail Valley Golf Course. You undeniably should pop by Empire Mine State Park since you're here at Cold
Creek, and a good location like Selby Flat here at Cold Creek is too pleasant to miss. At Cold Creek during the summer highs are in the 80's; the overnight is slightly colder of course, commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights
come with lows in the 20's to Cold Creek. The fine variety of local attractions and such a fine variety of outdoors recreation are nice incentives to come. This campground is so striking. While you're here at Cold Creek, you could also pop by striking Lava Cap Reservoir; why
not take a refreshing hike along the Green Valley Trail. There's more to do close to Cold Creek other than just hanging out such as swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, playing golf, and hiking, so it's not possible to get bored. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things right next door to Cold Creek. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Yuba River - Middle Fork.
