The workforce that operates this campground and all the fun stuff to do makes the journey here worthwhile. From a rain point of view Chilcoot is a rather common place; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of the year is July. | whitewater spots on Feather River - Middle Fork. So much fun stuff in the neighborhood of Chilcoot, and when you're here you're always having a great time. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. get bored here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Nearby Boyle Ravine is a delightful place to go if you're at Chilcoot, and Gansner Creek is next to Chilcoot and is always a delight to go to. All through the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Chilcoot while night lows
are commonly in the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Chilcoot tend to be in the 20's. The brilliant variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will positively have you coming back many times.
Any time is a tremendous time at Chilcoot if you like the outdoors. Plumas National Forest is a tremendous spot; you can go for a hike on the Claremont Trail. This campground has so unbelievably much. The nice people of Quincy like to hang out nearby; American Valley is a fine site. You've been indoors for too much time, and Chilcoot in California is a great place to go.
