You should positively dedicate some time to American Valley while you're here at Chilcoot, and nearby you stumble on fine places like Boyle Ravine. High temperatures at Chilcoot throughout the warm months are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Tributary is a brilliant whitewater spot near Chilcoot, and Gansner Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling
| on Feather River - Middle Fork, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Snake Lake. along the Finger Board Trail; lots of people from Quincy come here. Chilcoot is a campground that is enormously prized by folks from Quincy. If you come to this campground, you will have a wonderful time for sure. When you're here at Chilcoot it's always fun to visit Plumas-Eureka
State Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Chilcoot; Eureka Lake Trail is a magnificent local trail. This camp ground is situated in the pretty Northern Sierra Nevada. As if Chilcoot wasn't enough, you can also go whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing,
