Heavenly is a great site to do that, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Carson River Resort; Silver King Trail is a pleasant local trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Carson River Resort. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. of Carson River Resort, and it definitely is a brilliant campground. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back persistently. Places like Grover Hot Springs State Park are magnificent to visit; why not take a refreshing hike along the Corral
Valley Trail. This is such a pretty campground. This is a popular location for people from Markleeville; there are tremendous locations to look at along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13. Some activities here at Carson River Resort are swimming, hiking, whitewater paddling,
and fishing, so you won’t run out of things to do. Poor Boy Creek is a great local stream; paddling on Carson River - East Fork is so much fun. If you're here, you might as well go to Mogul Canyon, and don't leave Carson River Resort without first going for a hike along the
Burnside Lake Trail. Famous California hospitality and the splendid facilities are a splendid pull for a lot of folks. Lots of folks stay at this campground when going to Grover Hot Springs State Park. Carson River Resort is one of the sites to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada.
