The panorama of Mount R from Canyon Park is delightful, and there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Alder Creek Trail. This camp ground is one of the tremendous places to camp here in the San Bernardino Mountains. A lot of fun is at this campground. A spree to Canyon Park wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Silverwood Lake State Park. Canyon Park is a good location of typical precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest of the months   is June. Quite a lot of entertaining stuff to do near Canyon Park, and if you're looking for a great place to go for a weekend of camping, this is a great selection. Everybody loves Seymour Flat, and the Fredalba Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. At Canyon Park all through the summer months highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Canyon Park temperatures fall to the 20's. San Bernardino National Forest is worth stopping at if you're at Canyon Park, and close by you discover the Green Valley Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Canyon Park. You're sure to come across some good people from Running Springs here; going for a hike on the Government Canyon Trail is always a splendid adventure. California has loads of outdoors activities.
