Camping Trips, California
|
| | I have had the displeasure of staying at a campsite called Coloma Resort on the South Fork of the American River. If you're not a church group or over 65 this place is not for you. We were harassed by the management constantly and were told to go to bed at 10:00pm on a Saturday night. Nothing in their rules said laughing and the Beatles were not allowed. This is the type of place that will tell you what you want to hear just to get your money. The campsite was extremely crowded even the 3rd week of August. My advice is to go else where, anywhere else |
but here! Says Martha
Good hiking is available along the Bootjack Trail; Slacker Hill is easy to spot from Camping Trips. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Camping Trips, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs
| in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Camping Trips are in the 40's. This campground is so good. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Pelican Yacht Harbor, and one of the best things about this site is its proximity to Kirby Beach. The annual rainfall here at Camping Trips is about average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. Any time is a delightful time at Camping Trips if you go for the outdoors. China Camp State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs | |

a bit, and Sausalito Point is around here and always fine to explore. When you're here at Camping Trips it's always fun to visit Angel Island State Park, and Camping Trips is right by the West Point Trail. A campground like this is too good to miss. If you're here at Camping
Trips and you like golf, you can go to Presidio Golf Course, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Throckmorton Trail. This site rules, just check out all the cool things to do right next door to Camping Trips. The Ben Johnson Trail offers hiking at its best; you simply
have to stop at Yellow Bluff while you're here at Camping Trips. There are plenty of people from Belvedere Tiburon here at Camping Trips, and if you have the time, Presidio National Park is a national park worth a visit. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Camping Trips;
Temelpa Trail is a pleasant local trail, and Golden Gate National Recreation Area is a good local destination. A visit to Cone Rock is always fun, and while here here do explore close by Perles Beach.
