Butano State Park, Santa Cruz Mountains, California   Butano State Park is a very popular campground with the residents of Pescadero. At this campground you will always have a nice time. There is a great hiking trail near Butano State Park called the Coyote Ridge Trail; Juan Bautista De Anza National Historic Trail is a wonderful local destination. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Butano State Park, high temperatures frequently get into the 60's with night lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are usually in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at     Butano State Park drop into the 40's. If only every place had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. Time spent at Arroyo De Los Frijoles Beach near Butano State Park is always great, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Pescadero Creek. A visit to California is not complete without some camping. A day at gorgeous Pebble Beach next to Butano State Park is a nice thing to do; it's a brilliant idea to stop by Little Butano Creek. From a rainfall point of view Butano State Park is a reasonably normal place; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Outdoors recreation is plentiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. This camp ground is one of the magnificent places to camp here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The personnel that controls this campground and the enormously satisfactorily managed facilities makes the spree here worthwhile. Go for a hike on the Summit Trail, and a journey to Butano State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. If the weather is nice here at Butano State Park, you can go for a hike along the Ano Nuevo Trail; folks from Pescadero love to come here. This campground is a charming place to pop by. Going for a hike on the Sequoia Nature Trail is always a splendid adventure, and Bean Hollow State Beach is a good location to visit on a pretty day.
