Big Cove - Plumas National Forest, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   The personnel who's always there to be of assistance and the skillfully kept up facilities are a good attraction for loads of people. Some of the things you can do here at Big Cove are hiking, and whitewater paddling, so it's not possible to get bored. This camp ground is positioned in the scenic Northern Sierra Nevada. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Big Cove. While you're here at Big Cove you can take a hike along the Claremont Trail; get soaked paddling on Feather River - Middle Fork. American Valley     is a beautiful site any time of year, and Radio Hill is painless to spot from Big Cove. At Big Cove during the summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Big Cove. And if that's not enough there's a load more amusing stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Big Cove is a place with many visitors from Quincy, and close by you find the Eureka Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Camping in California is such an enjoyable thing to do. Going for a hike on the Third Divide Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and soar down the rapids of Feather River - Middle Fork in a kayak. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Why not take a look at nearby East Branch Mill Creek if you're here at Big Cove; on   a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Finger Board Trail. This is a great campground. Plumas-Eureka State Park is a good place to take a look at on a gorgeous day, and Plumas National Forest is both great and beautiful. A campground like this is too great to miss. Paddling on Indian Creek Feather Tributary is so much fun; there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Cleghorn Bar Trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Big Cove is close to the national average; the month with most of the snow is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Big Cove is esteemed by folks in Quincy. At Big Cove exciting stuff to do is bountiful, and it really is a great campground. All the good local attractions around here and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came.
