Bear River Lake Resort, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   This place was very nice. A group of 30+ were with us for a wedding in Lake Tahoe. We stayed here and everyone was helpful. The continental breakfast was great. And you have to check out Magoons Saloon for a evening out Says Marian At Bear River Lake Resort enjoyable stuff to do is bountiful; it is a very delightful campground. You can run the rapids of Silver Creek - South Fork near Bear River Lake Resort; Washoe Meadows State Park is both delightful and scenic. Going camping here in California is something you have to do. Bear River Lake     Resort is extremely popular with the people of Kirkwood. This is truly a glorious campground. Near Bear River Lake Resort you locate the Hawley Grade Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Bear River Lake Resort is next to Eldorado National Forest which is a scenic place. So many local attractions and the good variety of outdoors recreation are wonderful motives to come. Famous California welcome and all the exciting stuff to do have a lot of people coming here. The surroundings of this campground have so much stuff to offer. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mokelumne River - North Fork, and fine hiking is available along the Charity Valley Trail. Really good skiing awaits you at Kirkwood; a magnificent spot is Porthole Gap. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things   close to Bear River Lake Resort. Go for a hike on the Red Peak Trail, and not far from Bear River Lake Resort you'll find Shealor Lakes which is a charming lake. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's whitewater on American River - South Fork for all you adrenaline kick people, and going for a hike on the Emigrant Trail is always a fine adventure. Bear River Lake Resort is one of the places to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Yeah, come up here to the Northern Sierra Nevada for a magnificent time. There are pleasant places to explore along the Windmiller Trail, and you're sure to bump into some fine folks from Kirkwood here. There's loads of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so it's impossible to get bored. Bear River Lake Resort is a reasonably wet place ordinarily with a large amount of rainfall; most of the snow falls during January; July meanwhile is the driest month. At Bear River Lake Resort during the summer highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Bear River Lake Resort dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
