along the South Yuba Trail. While you're here at Aspen Group you can play some golf at Nevada County Country Club. Lakes are great; Lake Vera is a lake that's in the vicinity of Aspen Group. There's such a vast number of things to do at Aspen Group including hiking, fishing, playing
golf, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so running out of exciting things to do won’t happen.
And that's not all you can do here at Aspen Group. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Yuba River - Middle Fork. This camp ground is one of the good sites to camp here in
the Northern Sierra Nevada.
The high level of rainfall makes Aspen Group a quite wet location; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July.
