  Albion River Campground is located directly beneath the Albion Bridge. It is more of a fishing community than a campground and everyone that camps here becomes part of the community. ARC is mainly a Trailer, 5th Wheel, RV park, but takes tent campers as well. The campground has hookups for water and electric or full hookups, which include sewage and cable! There are 18 full hookup sites and 90 water/electric sites that also double as the tent sites. There is also a beautiful cabin on the other side of the river, directly down the hill from the small grocery
    market. Experience romantic seclusion on the Albion River or bring the whole family for a fun getaway. Pets are allowed in the campground after the daily fee as long as they are leashed and picked up after. There are doggie-pickup bags stationed around the grounds.

There
are a limited amount of fire pits that move around the grounds based on a first come first served basis, b. Y. O. Cooking grill. Fire pits are recycled rings from washing machines.

The Flats Cafe' is a great place to go for some hot coffee and delicious breakfast. Omelets, biscuits and gravy, and eggs benedict are just a few of the many delicious breakfasts available. Don't forget about lunch! The cafe' is famous for it's amazing Fish and Chips and New England Clam Chowder.

Shower facilities are run by quarters, when you are ready to wash
 
up after a long fishing day. Albion River Campground is the only harbor until Noyo in Fort Bragg.

While staying at Albion River Campground you could always look at Deadman Gulch, and places like Mendocino Headlands State Park are pleasant to stop by. Van Damme State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit, and The Lagoon is a great place to explore while in the region. A brilliant site for whitewater paddling near Albion River Campground is Rancheria Creek; you can run the rapids of Noyo River. High temperatures at Albion River Campground during the warm days of summer are in the 60's with overnight lows in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 50's, and night lows at Albion River Campground through the wintertime usually descend into the 40's.
Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Here at Albion River Campground there are plenty of folks from Albion, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eel River - South Fork.; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. So many cool things to do at Albion River Campground, so little time.
