| | Aberdeen Resort is located in the heart of the Owens Valley. We are 30 miles north of Lone Pine, and 30 miles south of Bishop. 13 miles north of Independence, and 13 miles south of Big Pine. Aberdeen is 1 mile to the West of highway 395 at the intersection of Goodale Rd. and Tinemaha rd. A quiet and peaceful place. Aberdeen is a manufactured home, and RV resort There is a store and seasonal cafe with limited hours. Store has RV supplies, groceries, fishing tackle, beer, sodas, and ICE available. We also offer free WiFi access at the store, also on site coin-op |

laundry facility. Goodale creek flows through the resort. We also have an RV sales office offering Cavco brand Park model cabins for sale. Many spaces available, also spaces on the creek. The mountain view is spectacular. We are located between Taboose and Saw Mill Trail heads.
| Aberdeen is also in the winter range for the mule deer heard that comes out of Kings Canyon National Park. There are a number of activities available right out of Aberdeen, fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, prospecting, or rock hounding with many dirt roads, and trails that one could spend the day on.
We have three campgrounds close by, Goodale campground (BLM) one mile to the west, continue up Goodale rd. Taboose campground (Inyo County) one mile to the north on Tinemaha rd. and Tinemaha campground (Inyo County) four miles to the north, paved | |

access from Fish Springs turn off, then up Tinemaha rd. However Tinemaha rd will continue on to the campground. A fund ride on quads, etc. if you want to come down on Saturdays for a beer or soda, and ice cream.

Good hiking is available along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section; Devils Postpile National Monument is a very nice location to check out. Around Aberdeen Resort you don’t get a lot of precipitation;
the month with most of the rain is January while June is frequently the driest month. There's tremendous hiking along the Kings River Trail; the fine people of Independence like to hang out nearby.
Summer brings highs in the 90's to Aberdeen Resort with night lows in the 50's.
The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while Aberdeen Resort overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 20's. This is a perfect campground. The Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 offers hiking at its best, and if you're here, you could stop by Goodale Creek.
