Says Charlie My family and I went to Woody's Canoe Rental and Campground a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful weekend camping and canoeing. They have water and electricity at all camp sites. They have new canoes and kayaks and a small store on site. The river is beautiful and cold. Woody told me there are a 100 springs that feed into this river. I would highly recommend this campground. Says Bill Dailey Bartley Hollow is close to Woody's     Canoe Rental and Campground and is a nice place, and a trip to Mammoth Spring State Park is a good idea. There's whitewater on Spring River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people; a perfect place like Lake Charles State Park is too delightful to leave out. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Woody's Canoe Rental and Campground get into the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Woody's Canoe Rental and Campground. The high level of rainfall makes Woody's Canoe Rental and Campground a rather wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is January. This campground is a striking site to have a look at. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then   we recommend Spring River, and a delightful lake like Looney Lake is a perfect place to have a look at. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Diles Creek.
