If you're visiting Southfork Canoe Resort from Mammoth Spring, you won't be the only one; float down the rapids of Strawberry River in a kayak. Southfork Canoe Resort mostly gets a large amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and January on the other hand is the driest. Grand Gulf State Park is worth stopping at if you're at Southfork Canoe Resort, and whitewater paddling is great on Spring River.
