Rich Mountain Country Store, Ouachita Mountains, Arkansas   Very nice folks. Expect good conversation when you visit. The pancakes are the absolute best. If all you do in the Oachita's is eat one of them then your trip was well spent. Excellent place. Rich Mountain Country Store is positioned in a region with scores of enjoyable things to do; it really is a fine campground. Scores of people stay here when going to Queen Wilhelmina State Park. And if that's not enough there's plenty     more exciting stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. Cossatot River State Park is a glorious site to stretch your legs a bit, and whitewater paddling is great on Big Creek. The high level of precipitation makes Rich Mountain Country Store a relatively wet location; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. The personnel that runs this campground and the beauty of the site attract folks from all over. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the entertaining stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, and relaxing, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. Rich Mountain Country Store is near Queen Wilhelmina State Park which is a lovely location, and paddling on Brushy Creek is so much fun. If you are in Arkansas all through camping season, you should go camping. This campground is   so delightful. Here at Rich Mountain Country Store there are plenty of people from Mena, and get soaked paddling on Kiamichi River. This camp ground is to be found in the stunning Ouachita Mountains.
