Overland RV Park, Boston Mountains, Arkansas Custom Search   Park Ridge RV Campground My husband are traveling cross-country from California along Highway 40. Park Ridge RV Campground is our fourth stop and the best so far. They are nestled by a hillside with access to Lee Creek which might be full of fish for all we know. It is very serene here and the leaves are beginning to pop on the pecan trees. They have a little country store that is really nice. Everyone here is very friendly and the proprietors live on the premises. Laundry and shower facilities are well kept. It is a few blocks     off Hwy 40 but oh, so quiet. Loads of birds. Full Hook-ups, and pull-through sites. I would love to be able to have stayed longer but we will definitely come back! The Marten's Burbank, CA Says The Marten's Paddling on Cedar Creek - West Fork is so much fun, and if you're stopping by from Van Buren, you won't be the only one. This is a perfect campground. A visit to Devil's Den State Park when you're here at Overland RV Park is never a bad idea. A campground like this is too perfect to miss. Some of the water nearby flows, like Lee Creek. Lakes are wonderful; Louemma Lake is a lake that's near Overland RV Park. Overland RV Park is a quite wet place usually with a great deal of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is January. The warmest time of the year brings highs   in the 90's to Overland RV Park. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Overland RV Park. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Boston Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Float down the rapids of Cedar Creek - East Fork in a kayak, and an afternoon playing golf at Cedars Country Club is always a pleasure. Yeah, come up here to the Boston Mountains for a nice time. Near Overland RV Park you discover a golf course called Deer Trails Golf Course, and a journey to Lake Fort Smith State Park is a pleasant idea. And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do near Overland RV Park. Cedar Creek has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Butterfield Hiking Trail. Lake Lou Emma Dam has fine water scenery and it's close to Overland RV Park, and FT Smith Country Club is a golf course close by.
