There's a great 2.2-mile-in-length type II+ whitewater section on Gulpha Creek close by, the Ridgeway       Road to Highway 270 sector. Taken as a whole this section of Gulpha Creek is an exciting location for kayak paddling. Check the situation prior to departure on the whitewater, or else it's not safe. Places like Lake Catherine State   Park are nice to check out, and not far from J&J RV Park you'll locate Sleepy Valley Lake which is a lovely lake. All year is a perfect time in the Ouachita Mountains if you adore the outdoors. In case you want to take a ride on a horse Ravenswood Equestrian Center is close by.
