Camp Albert Pike Store and Cabin, Ouachita Mountains, Arkansas
|
| | My family has also been going to Camp Albert Pike for MANY years. They started going before my mother was born. She is now 58 years old. My husband and I got married at the ampitheater there, and last year my family threw me a surprise baby shower there. It is the most special place in the world to me. Tomorrow my family leaves for our Albert Pike vacation, and we will be taking our daughter for her first year. She will be the 4th generation of our family to go to Albert Pike every year. I hope she loves it as much we have! Says Jeanne 'Gardner' Reed

I grew up going and it's a place I will never forget. Says Jennifer
My parents took me to Camp Albert Pike when I was in my teenage years. You never was bored, while you was there. The Lowerys, they ran the store then, was so friendly and helpful. Later after I had children
| of my own I started taking them also. We still go every year so we can hike the trails and just meet new people who have found what I call a little piece of heaven on earth. You see all kinds of wildlife and everyday you discover something new that you didnt see the day before. Now I have the joy of showing Camp Albert Pike to my grandkids. Hopefully they will love it as much as I do. See everyone in July every year!!!!!! Says Teresa
I have been going to albert pike since I was in diapers and I am now 40. It is great. I have been taking my children | |

for the last 20 years. I can't think of anywhere I would rather be. Says Cindia
Camp Albert Pike is the best place to get away for the weekend or even a whole week. My wife and I have been going almost every rear, sometimes more than once, since we first visited in 2002.
Weather you are into hiking, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing by the fire, Camp albert Pike is the place to be. The store owners go out of their way to please their customers and the camp hosts are friendly too. Just go once and you will be hooked. Says Kelby Oakley
Ouachita River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and the Gap Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. Man, is there heaps of cool stuff to do in the Ouachita Mountains. You're sure to bump into some fine folks from Norman here, and in the event that you don't mind
getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Caddo River. Daisy State Park is a tremendous place to explore, and since you're here, you might as well have a look at Jones Valley. Camp Albert Pike Store and Cabin gets a large amount of water; May is the wettest
month with most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Any time is a fine time at Camp Albert Pike Store and Cabin if you like the outdoors. During the summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Camp Albert Pike Store and Cabin, and during the
night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Camp Albert Pike Store and Cabin are in the 20's. This campground is so delightful. Crater of Diamonds State Park is a glorious location, and let's not forget Gap Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here.
