Bluff Hole - Ozark-St. Francis National Forest, Arkansas Custom Search   Bluff Hole is a campground that is enormously prized by the people in Dardanelle. Throughout the summer months here at Bluff Hole, high temperatures usually reach the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 40's while Bluff Hole overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things right next door to Bluff Hole. A good place like Mt. Nebo State Park near Bluff Hole is too fine to leave out; Bluff Hole is not far at all from Dardanelle.     There's whitewater on Illinois Bayou for all you adrenaline junkies; not far from Bluff Hole you'll discover Lake Dardanelle which is a stunning lake. A delightful vista of gorgeous Norristown Mountain is available from Bluff Hole; you can go for a hike on the Cowan Hollow Trail. Bluff Hole gets a large amount of water; through May this area sees the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. There is so much exciting stuff in the neighborhood of Bluff Hole, and what a glorious place for camping it is. This campground is so good. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Big Piney Creek, and a journey here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to nearby Lake Dardanelle State Park. The nice selection of local attractions, and so many things to do will positively have you coming back repeatedly.   We must all go for a weekend of camping once in a while, and Bluff Hole, Arkansas is a glorious place for getting out. The helpful operators of the campground and the perfectly managed operations makes the visit here worthwhile. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Galla Creek; a golf course close by is Galla Creek Golf Course. Loads of people choose this campground in order to be next to Lake Dardanelle State Park.
