The good local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. In Arizona you never run out of outdoors fun stuff. Woods Canyon Lake gets very little rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and May meanwhile is the driest month. The people who take care of the campground and the satisfactorily maintained facilities have people coming from near and far.

this campground is always a magnificent idea. Good hiking is available along the Steeple Mesa Seventy-Three Trail; Porcelain Sink is a tremendous location. Woods Canyon Lake is a campground that is exceptionally liked by people in Alpine.
This site, the Mogollon Rim Mountains,
| has so much outdoors exciting things. You can run the rapids of Blue River right next door to Woods Canyon Lake, and skiing at Sunrise Park is one of those things you just should do.
Woods Canyon Lake is a fine camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Mogollon Rim Mountains. There are so many fun things to do near Woods Canyon Lake, and campgrounds like these are splendid. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Woods Canyon Lake; KP Trail Seventy is a great local trail, and a tour to Lyman Lake State Park rejuvenates the spirit.

go camping for a couple of days sometimes, and Woods Canyon Lake is a splendid local campground if you happen to be in Arizona. This campground is a magnificent spot to stop at. Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest is a great spot; why not take a refreshing hike along the Raspberry
Trail Thirty-five.
So much cool stuff to do in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, not sufficient time. Going for a hike on the Escudilla National Recreation Trail is always a great adventure, and get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Black River - East Fork. Lots of people
from Alpine come to Woods Canyon Lake, and a round of golf at nearby Alpine Country Club is a great way to kill some time.

obtain a brilliant panorama of Tenney Mountain from Woods Canyon Lake. Throughout the summer highs here at Woods Canyon Lake get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; overnight lows in the 10's for Woods Canyon Lake.
