Aspen Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Sierra Prieta Crest Trail Nmber Two Hundred Sixty Four. It's out of the question to run out of entertaining things to do close to Turney Gulch Group; it indisputably is a nice campground. Paddling on Verde River is so
| much fun, and hiking along the Little Granite Mountain Trail Number Thiry Seven is magnificent fun. Around Turney Gulch Group you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is June. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Turney Gulch Group is close to Schoolhouse Gulch which is beyond doubt worth stopping at, and great hiking is available along the Groom Creek Loop Trail. Lakes? Sure, Lower Goldwater Lake is in the neighborhood; hiking is a popular thing to do around Turney Gulch | |

Group; Mount Francis Trail Forty Eight is a perfect local trail. All the pleasant local attractions in the neighborhood and the pleasant variety of outdoors recreation will make you glad you came. This campground is so good. Places like Prescott National Forest are great to
visit, and you're sure to stumble upon some smiling folks from Prescott here. The top of Kuhne Hill is easily made out from Turney Gulch Group, and do take a hike on the Granite Mountain Trail Number Two Hundred Sixty One. The warmest time of the year at Turney Gulch Group
comes with high temperatures in the 80's; the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Turney Gulch Group sink into the 10's.
