back time and again. This campground is so great. You can run the rapids of Verde River right next door to Thumb Butte, and Thumb Butte is right by the Little Granite Mountain Trail Number Thiry Seven. This is such a great campground.
Not much rainfall falls here at Thumb Butte;
of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is June. Thumb Butte is a campground rather often visited by the people in Prescott.
