| | As if Thumb Butte wasn't sufficient, you can also go swimming, hiking, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen. Go for a hike on the Granite Mountain Trail Number Two Hundred Sixty One, and a glorious site like Prescott National Forest is too tremendous to leave out.
All through the summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Thumb Butte with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Thumb Butte dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. |
Thumb Butte gets very little rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June on the other hand is the driest. The personnel of this tremendous campground and the splendor of the place makes the tour here worthwhile.

If you are in Arizona during camping season, you should go camping. At Thumb Butte you can make out Kuhne Hill, and lots of folks from Prescott come here.
While staying at Thumb Butte you could always discover Schoolhouse Gulch, and Lower Goldwater Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Don't forget to take a wonderful little tour to Aspen Creek, and perfect hiking is available along the Little Granite Mountain Trail Number Thiry Seven.

This campground is so nice. Going for a hike on the Mount Francis Trail Forty Eight is always a tremendous adventure; there are glorious locations to look at along the Sierra Prieta Crest Trail Nmber Two Hundred Sixty Four. This place, Thumb Butte, it clearly has so much outdoors
entertaining stuff. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Verde River, and close by you find the Groom Creek Loop Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This is such a nice campground.
The pleasant variety of local attractions and so many things to do are perfect motives to come. Thumb Butte is a top pick with folks in Prescott.
