This is in fact a great campground. If the weather is lovely, you get a great vista of Buck Butte from Sunrise Resorts, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wet Beaver Creek. Sunrise Resorts gets a typical amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with |
the most rain; the driest month is June.
Get dripping wet paddling on Verde River, and a tour to Tonto Natural Bridge State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Deadwood Trail; there are plenty of people from Happy Jack here
| at Sunrise Resorts.
Sunrise Resorts is right by the Apache Maid Trail, and popping by Coconino National Forest is a nice thing to do. Quite a lot of amusing stuff to do in close proximity to Sunrise Resorts; many folks like to come here to get away.
As if Sunrise Resorts wasn't sufficient, you can also go whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do. Outdoors folks generally go for this segment of Arizona. Hiking along the Long Canyon Trail is tremendous fun, and everyone loves Casner Park.

Basin Trail, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on East Verde River.
A tour to Montezuma Castle National Monument is worthwhile. During the summer months highs here at Sunrise Resorts reach the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. For the duration of the
wintertime highs are regularly in the 50's; overnight lows at Sunrise Resorts through the wintertime generally descend into the 20's. All the outdoors fun stuff next to Sunrise Resorts will keep you coming back repeatedly. Take a hike on the Bell Trail, and of course, all our national parks are brilliant sites to take a look at and Tuzigoot National Monument is no exception.
