The summit of Diamond Point can be distinguished from Star Vale, and a magnificent site for whitewater paddling is Tonto Creek. At Star Vale exciting stuff to do is bountiful, and what a brilliant place for camping it is. Star Vale is pretty dry regularly; August is when you get the most rain here; June meanwhile is the driest month. This is really a tremendous campground.
