| | This campground is a charming site to go to. The Apache Trail offers hiking at its best, and Grapevine Point is very near and is a good location to stop by. If you haven’t been to Tonto National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here; visiting Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park is a glorious thing to do. Lakes? Sure, Lower H N Trough is nearby, and do take a hike on the Rim-Moody Point Trail.
Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the enjoyable stuff you can do is whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and hiking, |
so you won’t run out of things to do. There's wonderful hiking along the Boyer Trail One Hundred Fortyeight, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Tonto Creek.
A number of folks stay at Roosevelt Lakeview Park in order to be right next door to Tonto National Monument.
