| | This campground is a good spot to go to. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of East Verde River. Not much rainfall falls here at Kokopellis's Retreat; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Kokopellis's Retreat is a good camp
ground to use as a base while enjoying the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Through the summer at Kokopellis's Retreat highs are commonly in the 90's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Kokopellis's Retreat temperatures descend to the 20's.
