At Greer's Pine Shadows you can see Sheep Hill; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Walnut Canyon Loop Trail. The welcoming environment and the very ably operated facilities are reasonably impressive.
Everybody close by loves skiing at Arizona Snowbowl; there is
a splendid hiking trail nearby called the A B Young Trail. If you haven’t been to Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, you have to schedule some time for it while you're here; since you're here you can play some golf at Continental Country Club.
This is such a stunning
campground. Lakes? Sure, Big Fill Lake is in close proximity; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Flagstaff. Around Greer's Pine Shadows you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the
months is June.
Greer's Pine Shadows is a very well loved campground by people of Flagstaff. Elden Hills Golf Course is a great golf course nearby, and Red Rock State Park is both great and picturesque.
