The Sierra Prieta Crest Trail Nmber Two Hundred Sixty Four is a great hiking trail near Granite Basin Group; a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Verde River.
If the weather is glorious here at Granite Basin Group, you can go for a hike along the Mount Francis Trail Forty Eight, and if you're here, you could visit Aspen Creek.
