Canyon Point - Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, Mogollon Rim Mountains, Arizona   Canyon Point is a campground that is very esteemed by folks from Springerville. There's loads of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t get bored. Canyon Point is located in the Mogollon Rim Mountains. Arizona has loads of outdoors activities. Through the summertime months at Canyon Point temperatures are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Canyon Point. A quick visit to Nutrioso Creek right next door to Canyon Point is a nice idea. This campground is so delightful. So much fun stuff to do here in the Mogollon Rim Mountains, too good to be true. The peak of Athletic Dome can be spotted from Canyon Point; a visit to Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest when you're here is never a bad idea. There is so much fun stuff to do in the vicinity of Canyon Point, and it is one of many great campgrounds in this area. While you're here at Canyon   Point you will meet lots of people from nearby Springerville, and don't leave Canyon Point without first going for a hike along the Escudilla National Recreation Trail. Canyon Point is frequently a rather dehydrated spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and May is the month with the least moisture. A perfect site for whitewater paddling next to Canyon Point is Black River - East Fork, and the slopes of Sunrise Park are so inviting noone can resist.
