Turner Lake East - Tongass National Forest, Alaska   Throughout the days of summer at Turner Lake East highs are typically in the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Turner Lake East temperatures drop to the 20's. Lakes? Sure, Carlanna Lake is around here. Black Sand Beach is a beach near Turner Lake East that you can visit, and why not go to Charcoal Point also since you're here. The high level of rainfall makes Turner Lake East a relatively wet spot; through the month of October you get the most rain around     here while July is regularly the driest month. This campground is so charming. At Turner Lake East you can catch a sight of Ward Mountain, and do have a look at Carlanna Lake Dam since you're here. If you've got cabin fever from too much time inside, No cause for concern; Turner Lake East in Alaska is such a pleasant spot. You'll meet a lot of folks from Ketchikan here, and swing by Carlanna Creek it's a wonderful location to go to. Several folks stay here to be close to Black Sand Beach. Camping in Alaska is such an enjoyable thing to do. Turner Lake East doesn’t have that many enjoyable things around here but what a pleasant spot for camping it is.
