Trail River - Chugach National Forest, Alaska   Trail River is a popular spot with the people of Indian. Camping out sure is a great thing to do; Trail River in Alaska is a splendid selection. Glide down the rapids of Willow Creek in a kayak; a visit to Lake Clark National Park & Preserve is worthwhile. Why not visit close by Ship Creek if you're here at Trail River, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Hilltop. The splendid local attractions and all the outdoors     recreation will beyond doubt have you coming back repeatedly. A campground like this is too nice to miss. If time allows, Katmai National Park & Preserve is a national park worth stopping at; Anchorage Golf Course is a good golf course nearby. This is a nice campground. There's glorious hiking along the Bull Rock Trail. Trail River is a location that is rather dried up commonly; through September this area sees the most rain while April is generally the driest month. A number of people opt for this campground for the purpose of being close to Katmai National Park & Preserve. Summertime highs at Trail River usually tend to be in the 60's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while Trail River overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. With so   much stuff to do in Alaska you'll never get bored. Paddling on Ship Creek is so much fun; if you've had enough of Trail River, Waldron Lake is close by. Some of the things you can do here at Trail River are hiking, fishing, playing golf, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so probably you want to stay for a while. There are so many amusing things to do next to Trail River; camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a splendid place to do that. Campbell Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by; Port of Anchorage is a charming place, absolutely worth taking a look at.
