Drift down the rapids of Wolverine Creek in a kayak, and Chugach National Forest is a fine spot to take a look at. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Talkeetna Mountains, too wonderful to be true. This campground is so brilliant. If you come at the right time of year, Little Susitna River offers some tremendous whitewater, and why not head up to Alyeska and strap some |
skis to your feet. This camp ground is positioned in the delightful Talkeetna Mountains. Lots of folks from Palmer come to The Homestead RV Park, and a stunning lake like Upper Rainbow Lake is a delightful place to stop by. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in
| the Talkeetna Mountains. Get soaked paddling on Moose Creek, and Chugach State Park is a gorgeous spot any time of year. It's impossible to get bored in Alaska if you adore the outdoors. All the magnificent local attractions in close proximity and such a large number of things to do are glorious reasons to come. like these are wonderful. The Homestead RV Park is pretty dry frequently; the month with most of the rain is September while March is generally the driest month. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Palmer Golf
Course, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to see at Sherwood Estates Dam right next door to The Homestead RV Park. The warmest time of the year at The Homestead RV Park arrives with high temperatures in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at The Homestead RV Park temperatures dip to the 0's.
