Peterson Lake - Tongass National Forest, Alaska   This segment of Alaska is always a pleasure to go to throughout camping season. This campground is so nice. You get a brilliant sight of Ward Mountain from Peterson Lake; at Carlanna Lake Dam close to Peterson Lake there are some exciting things to see. The workforce that operates this campground and the multitude of cool things to do attract folks from near and far. Peterson Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of October is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is July. Peterson Lake is esteemed by people     of Ketchikan. Lots of people stay at this campground when they come to go to Black Sand Beach. While there's not a great deal to do in close proximity to Peterson Lake what a splendid place for camping it is. Some nearby water includes Carlanna Creek; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Ketchikan here. Ok, the time is here for a camping trip, wouldn't you agree? Peterson Lake in Alaska is such a splendid place. You could also have a look at Carlanna Lake while you're here at Peterson Lake; it's close by, and don't forget to take a look at Charcoal Point since you're here. During the long summer days, highs commonly are in the 60's at Peterson Lake with overnight lows in the 50's.
