Patching Lake - Tongass National Forest, Alaska Custom Search   When was the last time you went camping for a couple of days? Patching Lake is a good local campground if you happen to be in Alaska. Lots of folks stay here for the purpose of being in close proximity to Black Sand Beach. If you get bored of Patching Lake, you could also go to close by Carlanna Lake. There's not a great deal to do in close proximity to Patching Lake but camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a good site to do that. Patching Lake is an old favorite with folks of Ketchikan. This is truly a perfect campground. You should     undeniably go to gorgeous Black Sand Beach while you're here at Patching Lake, and you are close to Charcoal Point since you're here. The kind reception and the splendor of the site will make you feel magnificent. During the warm days of summer here at Patching Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 60's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Patching Lake. Carlanna Creek is a great local stream; Carlanna Lake Dam has fine water scenery. Alaska has scores of outdoors activities. The view of picturesque Ward Mountain near Patching Lake is pleasant; there are plenty of folks from Ketchikan here.
