All our national parks are delightful sites to stop by, and Kenai Fjords National Park is no exception, and if you come at the right time of year, Bird Creek offers some splendid whitewater. The welcoming reception and all the tremendous passtime activities are motive enough to come here. It's totally     impossible to run out of entertaining stuff to do in the neighborhood of Miller's Landing; when you're here you're always having a great time. The pleasant local attractions and such a pleasant variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back over and over. Alaska has so much to offer nature lovers. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Miller's Landing; Grant Lake Trail is a fine local trail; drift down the rapids of Sixmile River in a kayak. Miller's Landing is a top selection with campers from Seward. Don't leave Miller's Landing without first going for a hike along the Lost Lake Trail, and Miller's Landing is not far at all from Seward. Some people stay here all through their tour to Kenai Fjords National Park. This campground is so tremendous. The Paradise Valley Trail offers hiking at its best, and   obviously Japanese Creek flows through this neighborhood. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining stuff just keep reading. There's glorious hiking along the Carter Lake Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Canyon Creek. The yearly rainfall here at Miller's Landing is about average; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is May. High temperatures at Miller's Landing all through the days of summer are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Miller's Landing dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
