Jim's Lake - Tongass National Forest, Alaska Custom Search   Alaska is a tremendous outdoors state. When was the last time you went for a weekend of camping? Jim's Lake in Alaska is such a tremendous location. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Jim's Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows at Jim's Lake during the winter regularly dip into the 20's. Several people stay at Jim's Lake when going to Black Sand Beach. A great panorama of delightful Ward Mountain     is available from Jim's Lake, and beaches are great and Black Sand Beach is no exception. Even though there's not that many amusing things to do next to Jim's Lake, you always have a tremendous time when you're here. The high level of precipitation makes Jim's Lake a rather wet spot; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is July. The caring workforce and the competently kept up facilities are a perfect attraction for loads of folks. This campground is so nice. Carlanna Lake Dam has good water scenery and it's near Jim's Lake, and you're almost certainly keen on lakes, Carlanna Lake is one of those close by.
