All the water falling down from the sky makes Gut Island #2 a wet location; all through the month of October you get the most rain around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Gut Island #2 doesn’t have that many cool things around here but it positively is a great campground. Why not stop by Charcoal Point also if you're here, and Ward Mountain is lovely and can be observed from here. The kind reception and the incredibly admirably operated facilities beat anything. While stopping by this area in Alaska it's a great idea to go for a weekend of camping too. Carlanna Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. A day at Black Sand Beach near Gut Island #2 is time well   spent, and since you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Ketchikan. Some people opt for this campground to check out nearby Black Sand Beach.
