Near Granite Creek you locate the Bull Rock Trail which is a glorious hiking trail, and dropping by Katmai National Park & Preserve is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Get     yourself into a kayak and hit Campbell Creek; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Anchorage Golf Course is close by. There's such a vast number of things to do next to Granite Creek, and when you're here you're always having a great time. When was the last occasion you went for a camping trip? Granite Creek in Alaska is a great location to go. There's more to do near Granite Creek other than just hanging out such as playing golf, hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so almost certainly you want to stick around. This campground is a beautiful location to take a look at. Ship Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at. At Granite Creek through the long summer days highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime   are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Granite Creek are in the 0's. Nancy Lake State Recreation Area is a perfect spot, and do stop by Waldron Lake, it's a picturesque lake. Alaska has so many things to offer nature lovers. There are some fine whitewater spots on Ship Creek, and a spree to Lake Clark National Park & Preserve is recommended. This is such a fun location for a campground. Port of Anchorage has wonderful water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Granite Creek, and Granite Creek is a place with many visitors from Indian. The glorious variety of local attractions and such a great deal of things to do are good reasons to come. The welcoming staff and a lot of cool stuff to do attract people from all over. Hilltop is a very popular ski area close at hand, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Willow Creek. Not much rain falls here at Granite Creek; September is when you get the most rain here, and April is when it's the driest.
