Says Tom Finally, the time to go camping is here again, and Granite Creek in Alaska is a really tremendous site to spend some time. Granite Creek is not the only place nearby, Waldron Lake is a nearby lake, and Port of Anchorage is a charming spot. Here at Granite Creek you'll probably meet some folks from Indian; a nice site like Nancy Lake State Recreation Area is too tremendous to leave out. And that's not all you can do     here at Granite Creek. All our national parks are fine sites to go to, and Lake Clark National Park & Preserve is no exception, and paddling on Campbell Creek is so much fun. At this campground you will always have a magnificent time. Going for a hike on the Bull Rock Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Anchorage Golf Course is a magnificent golf course close by. There is so much entertaining stuff to do close to Granite Creek, and it is one of a lot of tremendous campgrounds in this neighborhood. The welcoming atmosphere and all the good passtime activities makes the spree here worthwhile. This campground is so magnificent. Glide down the rapids of Willow Creek in a kayak. While stopping by this neighborhood in Alaska it's a tremendous idea to go for a weekend of camping too. Around Granite Creek you don’t   get a lot of rain; September is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is April. Such a pleasant pick of attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back repeatedly. Ship Creek is in close proximity to Granite Creek and is always a pleasure to take a look at; get soaked paddling on Ship Creek. Katmai National Park & Preserve is a tremendous national park, and Hilltop is a very popular ski area around here. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Granite Creek. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Granite Creek temperatures dip to the 0's.
